Dear Colleague,
I am excited to share with you two important projects that will be center stage at the 2020 Global Wellness Summit, taking place at The Breakers Palm Beach from November 8–11. As we all know, this has been a challenging year. We have learned together during this time—on our Global Collaboration Calls, Wellness Master Classes and Initiative Collaboration Calls—and discovered that many of you are innovating and finding silver linings for your businesses and yourselves.
One such silver lining is wellness technology, and at the Summit in November, we’re going to shine a light on that booming sector.
Today, the GWS is launching the “Call for Wellness Innovations” competition. We have an incredible partner in Welltech1, a wellness innovation fund and hub, out of Tel Aviv. We are looking for innovations in the wellness space—a product, service, technology—both from existing companies that have recently developed new creative ideas or start-ups looking to break into the wellness arena. The Summit team has assembled a group of global business leaders to judge the competition, and we will be awarding the Global Wellness Summit Prize to the winner on stage at the Summit. Competition guidelines and full information can be found here.
The GWS is also officially launching the Tech Innovation Pavilion, again in partnership with Welltech1, who is the Marquis Sponsor. The Pavilion is a physical space at the Summit, where we will showcase innovations in the wellness world. This is a sponsored opportunity, and if you’re interested, please contact my colleague, Michelle Gamble. You can read more about the Pavilion and the competition in the press release that was sent today to global media.
I know this is an unusual year for many reasons, but I am hopeful that I can personally welcome many of you to the Summit in November, as together we chart the course for the future of the industry we love.
Warm regards,
Nancy
