Dear Colleague,
Hopefully you are staying safe and well—and finding silver linings during these challenging times. Remarkably, a silver lining for the wellness industry has grown out of the three parallel pandemics of COVID-19, economic devastation and racial injustice. That silver lining is the world looking to the wellness industry to lead. This is our time to join together and ensure that wellness for people and the planet is the number one priority for every person, company and government. However, this dramatic shift isn’t going to happen by itself. We must collaborate and figure this out together, and I am asking for your help.
As you may know, there is a lot of talk about “resetting.” In fact, the Global Wellness Institute recently collaborated with the Vatican on a series of white papers that we titled, “Resetting the World with Wellness,” the Institute’s contribution to Pope Francis’s vision of the world, post-COVID-19.
We are excited that “Resetting the World with Wellness” is now the theme of the 2020 Global Wellness Summit, which recently moved from Tel Aviv to The Breakers Palm Beach, Florida, and will now take place November 8–11. We want to be prepared to turn these powerful words into action. Therefore, we are asking you, as a member of the Summit’s global network, to contribute to the conversation now, whether you plan to travel to Florida or not.
