Prof. Varda Shalev

Prof. Varda Shalev, MD MPH, is an active primary care physician. Shalev founded & directed the Institute of Research and Innovation Maccabitech – KSM. She holds a postdoc in Medical Informatics at Johns Hopkins University and founded the first medical informatics department at Maccabi HealthCare Services (the second largest HMO in Israel).  Prof. Shalev is a full Professor at the Tel Aviv University School of Public Health. She has authored over 250 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
