2021 “Shark Tank of Wellness” to Award Students for
Innovative Wellness Ideas
The Global Wellness Summit’s sixth-annual Shark Tank of Wellness global student competition has launched. This unique challenge will reward three university students for their most innovative, impactful idea for the wellness industry.
The Challenge
The GWS defines the wellness industry broadly and is looking for innovations in sectors as varied as architecture/design, beauty, education, fitness, hospitality, investment, medicine, nutrition, real estate, spa, technology, travel, tourism and more.
Three top finalists will be selected and flown to the 2021 Global Wellness Summit in Tel Aviv, Israel, where they will present their ideas on stage to the “Wellness Sharks” to win their share of prize money totaling US$10,000.
Students must register and submit their innovative ideas with a one- to two-minute video presentation and Concept Submission Form detailing the impact and viability of their idea. Submissions will be accepted through June 30, 2021.
Why Compete?
- The top three finalists, along with their professors, will be flown to Tel Aviv, Israel, to attend the Global Wellness Summit, November 15–18, 2021.
- The first-place winner will receive US$5,000; second place will win US$3,000; and third place will win US$2,000.
- The top three finalists will have full access to the three-day Summit, which brings together thought leaders and visionaries of the wellness industry from over 50 countries. This is a priceless opportunity for students to mingle with global visionaries.
- Winners will be featured in a global press release and on the Summit website.
