A Historic & Unique Conference
The First-Ever Hybrid Global Wellness Summit Event
The 2020 GWS was the Summit’s first-ever hybrid event. Delegates to the in-person Summit convened from November 8–11 at the iconic The Breakers Palm Beach. As always, top wellness leaders from around the world attended the most important conference on the business of wellness. In addition, the Virtual Access Package brought the Spirit of the Summit to the entire global wellness community.
A Vital Mission:
Resetting The World with Wellness
Wellness is now positioned to have its biggest impact ever on the world stage, making 2020 the most important Summit in its 14-year history. All sectors of the multitrillion wellness economy were explored as delegates and virtual participants gathered to be part of charting the way forward, “Resetting the World with Wellness.”
Seaside Safety, Wellness & Fun
The Breakers location features vast outdoor spaces and natural, physically distanced ways to move throughout this seaside property. Delegates were able to take deep breaths oceanside and give themselves a much-needed bit of self-care. (And there was time set aside for fun!) Virtual participants connected in live chats during the main stage presentations and in virtual brainstorming sessions.
Delegates also qualified to attend a post-Summit immersion experience at the wellness community pioneer Serenbe.
A Safe Model for Conferences
Dr. Richard Carmona, 17th Surgeon General of the US and Medical Advisor to GWS, will join delegates in person at The Breakers Palm Beach. He is committed to working with the GWS and The Breakers’ teams to create a landmark conference that is safe for all. LEARN MORE
A New Agenda for a New World
In addition to morning keynotes and panels led by global wellness experts, creative working sessions will take place outdoors in the afternoons of Day One and Day Two of the Summit. Virtual attendees will participate in interactive working sessions via Zoom, charting the future of the wellness industry while networking with global colleagues. This unique platform will be hosted by Anna Bjurstam, Wellness Pioneer at Six Senses and co-chair of the 2020 Summit.
The 2020 Agenda also includes the first Tech Innovation Pavilion, where delegates will meet in person with leading wellness innovators from around the world. New research on the escalating mental wellness market will be released and there will be a focus on the surge in wellness real estate and communities. Virtual Access Package participants also have access to the Tech Pavilion and the research.
